Singer Arijit Singh has been roped in to sing a song written by former Union Minister Kapil Sibbal for the upcoming film Shorgul. The music is composed by Zitar marvel Niladri Kumar.
Previously, Sibbal has written lyrics for a Qawwali called “Tu Hi Tu” for the movie “Shorgul”, however, later on he decided to pen down “Tere Bina” which serves as “promotional track” for the film based on socio-political conditions.
As a soft romantic number, the song invokes the concepts of love and separation. It is set to launch on June 4, 2016. Along with Arijit, a group of underprivileged children have lent their voice as chorus. The singer has trained them for it. The film is set to release on June 10 and features Jimmy Shergill, Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Ashutosh Rana and Sanjay Suri in important roles.
