Now, Akshay Kumar has proved that he is indeed the Khiladiyon Ke Khiladi even in the real life. We tell you how?
Currently, the Indian state Maharashtra is facing one of the worst droughts in years. Reportedly out of the 43,000 villages in the state, 27,723 villages have been declared drought hit making the lives of folks and farmers extreme miserable.
Considering the rise in the number of farmer suicides, few Bollywood celebrities have earlier come forward to help the famers including Aamir Khan and Nana Patekar. Now the ‘Airlift’ actor Akshay Kumar has extended his support by donating 50 lakhs to the Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan, an initiative by the Maharashtra government. This campaign purposes to develop water harvesting techniques in the villages. In the past time also Akshay had donated 90 lakhs to the families of 180 farmers who had committed suicide.
