After two weeks of creative splendour, the 2017 Indian Film Festival in Melbourne came to an end. About 60 films in 20 different languages were judiciously selected and showcased in the festival to be inclusive of all tastes and subjects.
The festival opened with Alankrita srivastava’s Lipstick Under My Burkha and the closing has also been graced by a Hindi film. Raveena Tandon’s Shab received rave reactions and reviews worldwide and the actress was applauded for her performance.
Raveena attended the screening with the film’s director Onir and Mitu Bhowmick, Lange founder and curator of Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017 and other luminaries.
