Yes! Confident, Emblazing and Head Strong…
Kangana Ranaut beams yet again with her third National Award for her marvellous performance in “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, coincidently at such a time when she was shunned as a Witch or Voodoo maker!!
This girl fights back, rebelliously, proving herself to be the ultimate hero, a respected actress and a strong human being. She has bridged her inferiorities, from being a small-town girl to a National Award winner and contributing a lot in the film industry.
But her hunger for acclaim never dies, as she has set eyes on winning her fourth award next year for Rangoon, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and starring Shahid Kapooor and Saif Ali Khan!!!! Yes, this girl never stops!!
She boldly expressed her desires in an interview with Times Now, and even went on the record to say,
“I feel it won’t be surprising if next year also I win an award because Rangoon is a very promising film. But you never know, I don’t want to say anything right now. But for a female protagonist, it’s a very strong character and I hope they consider me as a winner next year too. I can hope (smiles).”
Well, Kangana plays an action star in Rangoon, based against the backdrop of World War 2, and that is how she narrated her character,
“I play an action star of the 1940s. And Julia is a woman who is very fierce, very fiery; she’s a great dancer and a great action star.”
Watch the interview and see how candidly Kangana speaks about her surreal achievement.
