Actress Kajol has signed up a film with director Anand Gandhi, which will be produced by her husband Ajay Devgn. Kajol doesn’t differentiate between mainstream cinema or art cinema. She says,
I don’t agree with this thinking completely. There is nothing which can be called as mainstream or art film. There are only good films and bad films.
We make films so that audience can enjoy it, leave their troubles behind, and lose themselves into that story and those characters. And I believe I am going to make good films.
Gandhi has written and directed critically acclaimed plays like ‘Sugandhi’, ‘Pratyancha’, ‘Kshanotsav, Na and Janashtaru’ and a Gujarati play ‘Chal Reverse Ma Jaiye’. He has also directed films like “Ship of Theseus” and “Right here, Right now”. The movie will be an adaptation of one of his plays.
