For the first time ever Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan will be seen together on the screen. A source close to DNA revealed that Star Plus had recently initiated the Nayi Soch campaign ad and the TV channel also streaming for the SRK’s version of TED talks in India. So the channel is thinking of casting the two superstar in a TVC and it would be commercially viable also if the stars will join hands.
Source confirms that:
Aamir playing a sweet seller who is helped by his daughters in the shop got rave reviews. This has encouraged the channel’s brand team to try and rope in both Shah Rukh and Aamir together. What a coup that would be! It may be noted that last month, the duo bumped into each at the 50th birthday bash of entrepreneur Ajay Bijli and posed together for a pic for the first time in 25 years.
When SRK was asked about the association of TED talks India with Nayi Soch he said:
I believe ‘TED Talks India-Nayi Soch’ will inspire many minds across India. It is a concept I connected with instantly as I believe that the media is perhaps the single most powerful vehicle to inspire change. I am looking forward to working with TED and Star India and truly hope that together we are able to inspire young minds across India and the world.
