Uri attacks have devastated the friendly relations between India and Pakistan. Films having Pakistani people in either cast or crew seem to be the greater victim of the situation, so are the Pakistani actors. In order to show its support to the Indian governance, IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association) imposed ban on them.
Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Imran Abbas Naqvi and Ali Zafar are amongst few famous names which are being slammed by various journalists and political parties. Questions about why they did not speak up about the attacks were raised and even though these actors went on to share posts condemning the attack.
Fawad, Imran Abbas Naqvi (he is also a part of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and Mahira Khan have been clearly instructed not to give any interview to the media by the Filmmakers. Probably, the makers are aware of the fact that many of viewpoints of actors are crushed and portrayed in some other manner. And if this happens this time, things will get worse for ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ and ‘Raees‘.
One of the sources exclusively reveals
The makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have banned Fawad, Imran and Mahira from giving any interviews. All the three stars have been given clear instructions that everywhere they go, they will be asked about the issue (the ban on Pakistani artistes in India) but they should avoid it. In fact, the makers have told them not to interact with the media because they don’t want their (Fawad or Mahira’s) view be misconstrued, which could spoil things further.
Comment down below, if you too have some sense to make about the imposed ban on Pakistani artist by IMPPA.
