Sultan’s opening day box office collection was expected to be gigantic, the Salman Khan’s second day B.O. performance is even better. The Salman-Anushka starrer film did almost Rs 40 crore B.O. business on day 2.
As per the trade analysts, the film is bolting towards Rs 100 crore club within three days of release.

Sultan released on 4500 screens across India and soon it emerged as 2016’s biggest film. Each time Salman has released his film on the auspicious occasion of Eid, has beaten his previous film’s records.
With a well-narrated script, rousing drama and excellent performances, Sultan is not just a typical Salman film.
Last year it was Bajrangi Bhaijaan and before that was Kick, both the films earned crores and made an entry in Bollywood’s blockbuster galleria.
As far as biggest first-day openings are concerned, Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express tops the list with Rs 44.9 crore. It is followed by Salman’s Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo with Rs 40 crore.
But, according to the trade the film made Rs 36.54 crore on day 1 and the number only went up to gets doubled on day 2.
