Blame it on the recent “SURGICAL” Demonetization or the movie’s plot, Rock On 2 has fell hard within the cobwebs of this vibe. Rock On 2, a sequel to 2008 film “Rock On”, has failed to ignite the MAGIK amongst the crowd.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, here are the figures:
#RockOn2 is DISAPPOINTING… Fri 2.02 cr, Sat 2.41 cr, Sun 2.58 cr. Total: ₹ 7.01 cr. India biz.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani expressed his views in this recent cancellation, stating that demonetising Rs. 500 and Rs 1000 notes has affected the box office collections. He stated to PTI,
“People are busy queuing up outside the banks and even if they are able to get the new Rs. 2000 note they are not able to get the change for it which is affecting the overall collection of the film. If we had any clue about the decision we would have definitely pushed the release date.”
