- Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) series (2000-14)
The highest engrossing quiz-series in India, Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC has run through 8 successful seasons. Based on UK’s quiz-show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, KBC’s first season was premiered in 2000 on Star Plus.

SRK’s Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? Was much loved among the kids. Airing on Star Plus, it focussed on topics based on general awareness and mathematics. Also, Shah Rukh had hosted the 3rd season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

- Manoj Bajpai’s Kam Ya Zyaada (2005)
In 2005, Manoj Bajpai had hosted this quiz-show on ZeeTV. As its tagline went- “Kam Ya Zyaada, Teen Crore Ka Vaada,” it had a jackpot-prize of 3 crore rupees.
