Jugal Hansraj, Bollywood’s very own “Masoom” kid, has grown up big and successful. Currently heading the Creative Development at Dharma Productions since 2014, he is a celebrated Director, Actor and a Screen Writer as well.
Can you recognize young Jugal with his catty eyes in this ad?
Well, he certainly takes your breath away, right?
Jugal started his journey in B-Town with blockbuster “Masoom”, where he played an innocent, patient and rather cute little boy, who clearly bowled the audience with his piercing eyes, silent expressions and overloaded cuteness!
With a trail of average movies such as “Papa Kehte Hai” and “Aa Gale Lag Jaa”, he finally stumped the wickets with 2000-released “Mohabbatein”, alongside a multi-billion star-cast.
Here are rather some “Blink-&-Miss” Glimpses of him doing a cameo in notable movies:
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
A little Trivia about Jugal:
During a night-out with close friend Karan Johar, he was the one who gave KJo the tune and eight lines of the most ever-romantic song in Indian Cinema, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”.
He and Kim Sharma, his co-star and reel love interest in “Mohabbatein”, were dating at a time. Well, that doesn’t surprise us as long as you get to see their on-screen chemistry!
Another recognition in his kitty was when he won the National Film Award for Best Director (Animation) for “Roadside Romeo” in 2008, a Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Studios production.
He is currently enjoying the marital bliss with his long-time lover and now wife, Jasmine Dhillon, an NRI investment banker from New York. Don’t they make a cute couple?
Has he grown old, but the charm and innocence still fervors his personality! Happy Birthday Champ!
