Gone are the days, when actresses are considered only as the eye candies of the silver screen. They are not anymore the damsel in distress waiting for her knight in armor to get rescued. Now they are efficient enough to take care of themselves, protect others and even take revenge if needed. It’s time for them to fight for their rights and get equal pay package (sometimes more) as their male counterparts. Here Bollywood Googly is paying a tribute to the strongest characters of Hindi movies which have left the impression on the mind of audiences.

One of the loving and strongest women characters of Hindi movie who is independent, flamboyant and unapologetic. Deepika Padukone won everybody’s heart for her portrayal of Piku.
She is cute. She is adorable. Jhilmil despite her physical and mental drawbacks, she fights for her own dignity and self-respect. Priyanka Chopra was all perfect as the childish Jhilmil Chatterjee in the movie.
Madhavi (Page 3)
